Helm Memorial Garden

Welcome to the Helm Memorial Garden. This sacred space was set aside by the parishioners of St. James Church and in memory of La Velle and Reeve Helm by their children Kay Chervin and Gene Helm.

Here you will find a Columbarium for the inurnment of ashes of parishioners and members of their families, who may also choose to have their ashes buried among the plants in the Garden itself.

This is a place of remembrance and also of prayer and reflection. The Labyrinth and Stations of the Cross are open to anyone at any time. Handouts are available explaining both of these prayer disciplines. If you do not find them by the Garden, please ask in the parish office.

We invite you to come here to bask in the quiet, to seek God, to remember those you have lost. We hope you will add your prayers to ours in the ongoing blessing in this holy place.

When you leave, may the blessing and please of God go with you and abide with you always.
